What is “bespoke” jewelry?
Bespoke jewelry is completely custom-made to your specifications, rather than adapting an existing design. It’s one-of-a-kind and created just for you.

Can this process be done virtually?
Yes! We work with the majority of our clients virtually.
How long will it take to design a bespoke engagement ring?
From start to finish, the entire bespoke process can take approximately 7 to 10 weeks, depending on the complexity of the design. You can learn more about how long each step is expected to take here.
How do I pay? Do you require a deposit?
We require a $100 deposit to begin the diamond/gemstone sourcing process. This deposit is non-refundable and will be applied toward the final cost of your piece. Once a stone is selected, a deposit of 50% of the total cost is required to secure the stone and begin the CAD process. The remaining balance is due once the piece is completed and ready to ship.
All invoices and payments are processed through Shopify.
I want to design an engagement ring for my partner, but I don’t know where to start. Can you help me?
Definitely! If you’re not sure where to start, we’ll guide you every step of the way to design a ring that you and your partner will love.
Can you reuse the metal on an existing piece that I have?
Unfortunately, we don't use customer-supplied metal because we can't guarantee that it will meet our quality standards.
Can you resize my ring after I've received it?
Yes, we can resize your ring for a fee. Please email us at support@carafine.com.
Diamond Sourcing
Do you work with natural and lab grown diamonds?
We primarily source and work with lab grown diamonds, but we’re happy to work with natural diamonds in special circumstances. Feel free to email us so we can discuss your needs.
Will you help me choose the right diamond?
Absolutely. For custom diamond sourcing, we always curate a few options for you to choose from, and if you need help narrowing it down, we can guide you through the specs of each stone to help you make a more informed decision.
Will you set a loose stone that I already have?
In most cases, yes! Please email us at bespoke@carafine.com.
Please note that CARA cannot be held responsible for client-provided stones that are lost or damaged in transit.
Shipping & Delivery
Do you ship internationally?
We currently only ship within the US. We're working on international shipping, so stay tuned!
How long will shipping take?
Items will be express shipped to you via a fully insured shipping service. Allow 2-3 days for delivery. Signature will be required upon delivery.
Insurance
How do I insure my engagement ring/jewelry?
We highly recommend insuring your jewelry through a third-party insurance provider. Jewelers Mutual offers comprehensive, specialized jewelry protection and coverage against loss, theft, damage, and mysterious disappearance. You can contact them for a quote here.
